A glazed gable facing the forest, a concrete slab stepping down to the sand.
The land slopes gently down to the pine forest. We set the house on a single slab that follows the slope and opened the whole gable towards the trees.
At night the large window turns the house into a lantern; by day the roof overhang keeps the living room shaded in summer and lets the low winter sun in.
